Never really done any good in the sky game but got off to a reasonable start this year. A bad last 2 weeks has slowed me down a little bit but it can soon turn around in this game with a few decent captain picks.
My 2 teams are on:
833 - 32T
755 - 34T
Probs used a few more transfers than i would of liked in my top team. How is everyone else doing? Just been reading last years thread and Yorkie was 14th at the start or November last year.

30 left in my top team. Think that's a very solid start mate. This year feels different in relation to hitting the top 100, possibly due to the lack of big captain hauls recently, think the tortoises may take longer this year.

I'm hoping to hit January with 20 but probably need a bit of luck given my current standing

I've burnt a few transfers fiddling about to little effect with my teams. I'm about 4.5k position I think. I could have been 6 better off if I'd done nowt...

Agree this year does feel different.... I think ca 800 with 35 is solid. All about hitting capts. Vardy did me a lot of damage recently.

Not a bad week for both my teams. My Son transfer from last week looks a little bit better now. Vardy is getting really annoying now though,got him in my second team but not in my best one. Im starting to lose patience with my Liverpool defenders conceding 1 goal every week aswell.

Decent week for my best team scoring 101 points and up to 149th. Still need to get Vardy in this team though, considering bringing him in on Sunday. Liverpool still conceding 1 goal per game isn't helping either.

Thanks Yorkie. Yeah would be good to compare ideas with someone that has been in the running before. Will try my best not to fk it up . My weakness in the full season games is that i usually burn transfers to fast which is why im usually better at the shorter games. Will see how things look after christmas,got another 4 transfers planned before the end of the year so hoping to have 23/24 going in to
January.

Finally brought Vardy in so he will probably stop scoring now . Got another 2/3 transfers planned so am hoping to end the year with 24/25 transfers left.

Best team is on 1388 and is up to 51st place,hopefully got enough transfers left to have a good go at it but it usually starts going wrong when I start making transfers . Second best team is on 1253 with 26 left,might change to a different block with this team and see if it can make any ground up.

Best team still going along quite nicely and is up to 25th,still got a decent number of transfers so hoping it can stay up there for a bit or with a bit of luck maybe even challenge. I notice that King Monkey has a team within 60 points of my best and seems to be closing the gap which is quite worrying going by his telegraph record. Hopefully you still have a reasonable amount of transfers left and can both be in the running at the end.

Doesn't matter how many transfers iv got if I mess them all up . Think id be happy with top 3. I think the most important thing could be picking a decent overhaul team. The next few weeks and February overhaul could make or break my chances.

Been making headway over the last month Jimmy, I'm better at sky than tff so beware

Seriously though, looks like your probably very close to, if not the true leader at the moment, and given your points in the Liverpool sheff utd game will be in great shape come the overhaul of that keep performing.

I've not given up hope of making a challenge if I hit a few captains over the next few weeks and nail the overhaul team.

I'm in decent shape in a few cash leagues which will probably be my best chance tbf.
