benchmarking

Postby Yorkshire Exile » Thu Jun 26, 2014 1:06 pm

I know I ain't doing great - but struggling to get a handle on where I really am...

my likely best team is YE3

246 pts
20 transfers
5 tp today (might make another couple - but don't need to shift any players knocked out)

average / above average? - seem to be motoring past the mid-table hares at the minute

will keep plugging away - but need to go against the grain at some point

273 with 18 left, 4tp today and probably use 2 transfers..making 6

one of these 2 transfers is to shift my only player who's been knocked out.
The other just as i'd planned to have 16 left going into the knockouts :agree1:

Not to dissimilar to the pair of you.

Will be going shit or bust any time now :woot:

interesting

be good to know how weeman and bloggie are doing given they are ones over 300 pts... i suspect they not got too many as they are losing touch with the leaders.

I don't think i got any hope - think the hares might win this - but its gonna squeeze up nicely

is rinky posting on here - not seen him...

The problem with the hare teams (I'm hoping)....

is that in the strategy of just rotating strikers every game, they may have used TOO MANY transfers and have not paid attention to transferring out defender/midfielders who have been knocked out.

For instance, last night, I imagine many hares went for Dzeko and/or Enner Valenica,
this could leave them with as little as 5 transfers and several players knocked out.

I personally feel that the goals per game ratio may fall In the knockouts, and with extra time and shootouts coming into play clean sheets may prove more significant. Rotating goalkeepers might be an idea :hmmm:

Are your plans currently going to plan Binky ?? :thumb1:

Bestest luck in the daily Binky,

as well as my win, i've finished 4th, 10th + 15th.

When I was leading into the last match I played quite safe and won.
In my team that finished 4th I came from outside the top 100 by having 2 players off the bench who scored well

What is good is that you can probably not select the whole Belgium team due to budget,
so there will be different opportunities/team setups .

Exactly. Keeper rotation is the future.

Clean sheet and three saved pens per game :titter:

id say most of the top 100 would be blocks of some sort and still some stragglers from manager of the day attempts

quarter finals is where I`ll be looking to see where I think im at

Bloody good progress today Boinky :clap2:

Those at the top of the leaderboard are struggling judging by the fact I've scored low the last day or 3 yet pulled 10 points :hmmm: :oldgit:
